    @peejay2 . To answer your question. I've been invested in the Schroder Private Equity Fund for 3 years. See snip below for performance figures. Keep in mind that my reason for investing in this fund is because returns were not correlated to other asset classes in my super portfolio. It has done well compared to small cap / micro caps funds over the last 3 years. It is high risk because of liquidity constraints and the nature of the investments in Venture capital, Expansion capital, Management buyouts and financing Special situations. It is ~10% of my portfolio. And I'm not putting more eggs into this basket.

    Btw. There is some talk I'm hearing in another news letter about how heavy Private Equity Funds are leveraged in the US. One guy I subscribe to is calling it a shorting opportunity. So be on your toes.. DYOR.
