    I don't believe they have been selling the same tech for 20 years and there have been different iterations of the company and many different directors during that time.

    It's worth keeping a company code on the ASX even after liquidation because ASX listing fees are huge. After things go cactus you just need a simple name change, buy a hole in the ground, get a few dopey schmoes to put in some millions and you're back in the game again.
