TRADING HALT REQUEST
The Directors of Elk Petroleum Limited (ASX Code: ELK) hereby request a trading halt of the Company’s
securities.
The trading halt is requested pending an announcement to the market in relation to reserves certification
at the Grieve field. The trading halt is expected to last until the earlier of the Company releasing an
announcement or the commencement of trading on Wednesday 30th April, 2008.
The Company is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted.
