Why is that ? As a twist or events I wouldn't be surprised if BDM was interested in purchasing diamonds from GIB for their luxury brand and Perth WA cutting operation. Aussie yellow diamond will be highly desirable. Does BDM still have the cutting operation ? Think BDM employed the ex argyle cutters.
Will be an interesting year ahead for Ellendale. Interestingly India Bore is also current mining the Ellendale field, but the jury will be out regarding their success due to grades and over burden. Perhaps BDM will look to purchase fancy yellows from IBDH aswell. Mined in Aus, highly desirable, mixed with an Aussie brand and cut locally. Be a great product.
