Absolutely agree. NIH Boss has been there years. With them on board this thing goes through (or not) per the results, not politics. The present FDA Head will be gone under a new administration after his terrible failures and incorrect commentaries during COIVD-19. There have literally been five FDA Commissioners under Trump, who have been terrible, bar Scott Gottlieb who clearly had a few too mnay virtues - he recused himself "for one year from any agency decisions involving about 20 health care companies he worked with" under an ethics agreement and eventually bowed out because he refused to bend to a few more conservative factions aligned with big tobacco.
