If not for a few wins by the Titans, John Cartwright could well have been in the same boat.

As the senior coach, Furner would take the credit when they won. If they lost, he would blame Bennett. All tongue in cheek of course but it illustrates some of the difficulties in having a shared coaching set up.
Eventually the better coach will either move on to a better position with another club, or replace the head coach if things turn bad.
Despite what happened at the Cowboys, I believe that Henry is a very good coach and deserves to be a head coach again.
