I just arrived back from a field trip to the states, New York, Dallas and Austin. I was not able to visit AKK but my investment banker / "tour partner" and I did hear rumblings during our visits with some large banks that the boys at AKK are proceeding with a money raising campaign to allow them to buy a large oil producing field in Texas. Something like 900 barrels a day and half the money raising goal is already in place.

I asked the banker to do a bit more research and then update me later in the month. I hope it's true. The rumor about new drilling is not true.
