Musk has an impressive track record. He breaks boundaries quickly. As for Tesla having a market cap half that of Ford, well that is just the idiocy of the market, which even Musk acknowledges. And I totally agree that Tesla's niche is very soon to be lost. But the Tesla brand is strong and I wouldn't write it off at all. The big money will be in the Gigafactory.
