The future of straight electric cars is totally dependant on battery technology imo . Battery technology that will provide decent range . It appears that Tesla is almost there with the range solution . Once that is achieved , then sales will increase and prices will fall . Economies of scale .
The fact that many other manufacturers are investing in alternative forms of energy suggests to me that this has legs .
