from tim blair's blog. but it seems that the WSJ has claimed that the cost of the battery was us$50m (ie =aus$66m), and good to provide 30,000 with 1 hour back up power. that works out to be more than $2,000 per household.

mmm how many other businesses have installed their own diesel generator??? how many household have raced off to bunnings and bought a petrol generator ???
