Hoot,
Under the Corporation Act it only takes 5% of the total shares on issue to call for a Sect.249D resolution and get rid of the whole Board, or part of it. Most importantly, and with the percentage ownership that the Chinese have on us, that % ownership level is more than sufficient to make that move if and when they wished to. Considering then that only about 25% to 35% of the total investors usually make use of their Democratic righhts to vote for any resolution put forward by any company, it would be easy to realise that we wouldn't need the 50% plus one share to do what you are suggesting.
All I am trying to say is, that there is more than one way of skinning the cat, or even that rabbit that a poster is continuing to make a call for WM to pull out from his hat.
