Days or weeks away from potentially somewhere between $10 - $20 Million p.a ? if the EMA goes to label expansion of 6 implants up from 3 or 4. Shorters do tend to agressively attack CUV just before financials each year only for financials to then turn out exceptionally good - only for the shorters to pile in again haha. Of course by controlling the share price and sentiment they can shift discussion away from good things like that, as well as good news on EMA trial progress for children 12-17, CUV105, blockbuster tanning etc etc.

As for the ASIC shorting data another incredible 30000 fake Sell shares on the latest day data is available alone - shorters are really ramping up the volume and this is possibly to meet increased demand due the extreme undervaluation they have created. The whole set up is very weird with the shorting and Clinuvel. Sellers generally try to get the highest price possible when selling but here they are dumping shares every day just to keep pushing that price down. 1.2 Million new open shorts since the buyback was announced which is less than what the buyback was stated to carry out. Criticism of management and the buyback is entirely valid, I don't believe anyone would care if the price fell as they bought back 1.5 Million shares as it would impactfully improve financials and show they gave a care about shareholders and their own words. $20 Million out of $200 Million is not impactful at all on R&D and they have been willing to spend on Michelin catered Soirees in Monaco so the funds for R&D argument does not stack up anyway. Clinuvel are very controlling of everything so allowing shorters to do as they wish with the share price (which is a Window into the company) is weird to say the least especially since it has gone on for many years now. The board exists to protect shareholder interests, deploying $20 Million of shareholder money to protect their interests is the least they could do - and it is what they said they would do to the ASX. They receive strike after strike on remuneration in strong statements from many shareholders but they don't seem to care. It's a shame because so many things are exciting here in the best financially performing small biotech.
