I wrote an email to the company today with these questions. I was pleased with the prompt reply and answers. I have posted for all to see:

I have bought a number of shares in Comdek after doing research on the company and finding you owned a considerable amount of coal reserves. After reading about Paul Jury with all his credentials coming on board as managing director it made me buy even more shares. The reason for this email is to ask a few questions to Paul Jury or management or who ever maybe able to answer them. The questions are as follows:
Q:Are there going to be any more announcements this year and if so what will the time frame be?

A:We will regularly provide updates on progress and envisage that there will be an open flow of information. It is difficult to predict the exact timing of announcements but at a minimum we are bound to provide quarterly updates. Clearly if there is information to hand then it will be continuously disclosed.

Q:In the last announcement you state that you had an increase of:

78% at the South African Waterberg deposit, Koert Louw Zyn Pan.
“This is an important step forward in determining the enormous economic
potential of our deposits in this emerging world class coalfield,” said Mr. Paul
Jury, Managing Director of Comdek.

A:From finding the results to actually getting the coal out of the ground, considering you have all the infrastructure in place already being rail lines and shipping port, what time frame would you put on, to actually producing the first tonne of coal for shipping? We have to achieve a number of milestones prior to funding mining activities. The two major steps are to (1) determine a bankable reserve and to help achieve this we are undertaking the major drilling program and (2) secure the necessary approvals to enable a mine to commence. It usually takes several years to achieve these types of milestones, which then give rise to the completion of a Bankable Feasibility Study, which if is supportive then helps with the raising of funds to enable mining activities to be undertaken.

Q:When or what time frame would you put on changing your status from technology company to being a mining company.

A:We hope in the short term.
