Hi pennyg, I have a feeling something was lost in translation on the AELB site. When you translate from their notice in Malay using google translate:

Dimaklumkan AELB akan mengadakan Taklimat Media berkaitan isu semasa LYNAS seperti berikut

you get:

Informed AELB will hold a media briefing on topical issues LYNAS as follows

Still a bit jumbled, but "topical issues" regarding Lynas sort of has a different meaning to regarding Lynas issue. Would be great if omg or someone like that who speaks Malay could translate it properly.
