Have now looked up some of the people who the email was cc-ed to http://www.aelb.gov.my/aelb/engv/text/staff.asp :

Dr Noorhasnah Bt. Khairullah is Special Officer, Director General Office

Monalija bt. Kostor is Principal Assistant Director Policy, Code & Standard Division and I think it means she is Acting Director, as director is absent ?

Ghazali bin Ismail is Head of Section, Communication & Multimedia Section


Now my conclusion is my questions on TOL issue timing were deemed important enough for the respondent TENG IYU LIN (who isn't on the list, so not a person of consequence) to get these senior figures involved. I didn't expect to get the answers by email - but these people now know for sure that these questions are being asked and it will be up to them to decide whether to release this information at the media breifing. If so, I suspect a worthwhile exercise.
