Received email today from Bill Oliver answering questions on the usefulness of the CIL mill. He drew attention to their release on the 7th of July which states 'Signature's primary focus will be rapidly developing oxide targets and producing gold from free milling ores in the existing plant facilities'.
He also said there are unmined oxide resources within the project area as well as remnant stockpiles onsite which can be treated by the CIL plant. Also some of the fresh rock resources are free milling and can be treated by the CIL plant. Their experts have told them the plant can be re-furbished at a fraction of the cost of a new one and they see this as their quickest way into production.
There are different kinds of ore in the fresh rock and as they progress the project they will carry out metallugical studies to work out the optimum method of processing them all so these will not be a part of initial production.DYOR.
