I agree Funtimes1... CN and co have got this wrong, very wrong imo.
Quite simply, FAR have never had USD$430 'in the bank' to even think about pre emption! They cannot use 'partners' as this is not how pre emption works (it would open up another round of pre emption to the other parties should FAR buy say 2% and 'partner' 33%).
COP and WPL were correct to ignore the minnows bleatings and chest beating - however process may not have been followed, which has bought the JV this bad blood shambles... cant see how FAR can 'win' either way ... a monumental folly imo DYOR
