I guess the problem is we have no idea what the real cost was? If it was as simple as that's the price then I am sure FAR would have PE straight away.
I am starting to get the feeling that COP/WPL knew Total were sniffing around and its the reason they tried to make the deal un PE able. They knew CNE were out of the picture so FAR was the vehicle for Total. I think if CNE had been interested they would have probably been the vehicle to PE but I suspect WPL would not have signed on the dotted line if CNE made PE noises. DB
