From the point of the company, it does make a difference I reckon on who owns the shareholding. ie if there were a collective group of unhappy and aggregated shareholders then this could add momentum to a campaign like Blaze.
Also when masses of discounted shares are underwritten or taken out by institution/s (ie Patersons or many others)then the company does lose a degree of control and an increased threat rests with people outside of the fold... these shares could be quickly distributed for quick profits rather than the ethos of TEX.... Just my view - it ain't all that simple in my opinion.
