Really? They have more information? Insider information? who is feeding them this info? WPL, COP, FAR?
These guys are guessing just like the rest of us. They do influence the market however in the absence of news so you could make some money riding on their coat tails. They also do get caught out at times and are forced to cover. They have made more than enough money over the last couple of years that being forced to cover on a spike will just dip into their profits.
The shorters play the odds and win more than they lose but they don't always get it right.
I agree you need to tread carefully. If you are following the shorters and winning then good luck to you.
