One could argue that because Aussie won't have addtional nuclear facilities, hence there is no nuclear waste to worry about, it is almost criminal to prevent Australia to make most of that resourse by exporting it.
As it is, Australia is handing that exporting job to Canada and Africa and Aussie sofar would have lost $$bill because of egos and stupidity.
