The overall vote in most of the counts was roughly 61% Against vs. 37% For.
In the article above Jackson claimed that, if C2's holding was removed from the poll, the result would be a lot closer to 50/50. I called this a dumb comment because why would you only exclude C2's holding and not their own? After all, the votes of both parties are a given.
