Yowie is a joke company. They sell a discretionary product in a highly competitive and low-margin business.
They have no durable competitive advantage.
They were run for a long time by... a mining engineer (lol).
Director incentives were completely misplaced from the get-go.
By what measure was YOW ever a good company to buy? Garbage in, garbage out. It's not complicated.
