We've all been there one way or another - i think it should be an ASX disclosure requirement of BODs generally that they must provide significant back grounding as to their credentials and professional experience ...minimum 15 yrs per member ( competency is based upon 10,000 hrs of mastering 1 task) seems reasonable.
I look for this myself now as a general rule when considering investment opportunities.....as well as many other things obviously. good luck
