Guys do some research on the product before commenting on price. I had a look at their website, and assuming I have the right product (ES-5000 Energy Server), then the 700-800k they paid for it is for 100KW.

That is a price per KW of $7000-$8000. If they are talking about a $3000 system it would probably be safe to assume that it is for a 1kw system being mass-produced i.e. half the existing rate.

Now the price per KW currently quoted by them is about on par with what BlueGen will probably start off at. They said $8,000 was the mass-production price which is $4000 per unit.

I would also assume (being unable to find any statistics on it - maybe someone else can), that our unit is more efficient.

So it is a bit early to say that they are competition for BlueGen. At the moment we are the market leader.

They do have the advantage as mentioned previously of having capital behind them. We just need that too. Maybe someone like Origin or someone like that!
