I agree with what you are saying but the problem is not primarily between Ruane and the Martu it is between Ruane and Proctor. I think the best that can be said to him about this situation is that I agree with his stance towards Proctor but clearly he has the ability to hamstring things so it is time to get over the differences and make a deal. If the Martu are comfortable with the facts that have emerged about Proctor and his (double) dealings then so be it. Let's make a deal and leave some aside to line the pockets of Proctor's friends. As distasteful as it is, it appears the most ready way forward.
