Great idea Joel and I think you should ask that any poster that reads your post and intends to send in a letter should thumbs up your post. This will give you some data on how many letters have gone in.
I'd also suggest that you ask that whatever SPL reply that you can share on a public forum, that will save people that love to report posts as being unsubstantiated from getting your replies moderated.
I think you will just get a reply of things are going along normally as to be expected and they will update you in the quarterly.
