Well sorry Magix,

i always loved to read your posts, but with this last one i have to disagree-and i have to do so totally.

Do you really think it is an option, for a democratic country to be left in the dark???
Do you really prefer,that only the governing people should know about all the facts ???

Sorry,but this is not my understanding of democracy !!!
It is my opinion, that the most important factor in this case (meaning the people) should have the chance to read about all the facts,that are available.
And afterwards they can choose their own opinion. (By the way the same is true about wikileaks) I dont agree at all, that the population of the affected community in Mt. Pleasant,should not have the chance to get access to the full information possible.
It is up to them afterwards to come to a conclusion,but only ! if they are to know about all the necessary facts.
IMO a principle about basic democracy.

It is my personal believe that everybody involved, should have all the information necessary- all i tried to achieve, is help this way of doing things.
Might not be the political perferct way,of informing the majority,but IMO is neccessary for the public opinion, to come to their own conclusions !!!

Just my humble opinion,but democracy always comes before personal gains, otherways society wouldnt work...
