To have to wait until August for assays is really dodgy. To cut 15m of core takes about 5hrs (tops) with an ordinary brick cutting saw - it aint hard. I'm sure that there are plenty of brickies in the NT who will lend their saw for a couple of hours for the cost of a carton of beer.
As for assays, even if they have to be trucked to Adelaide, Townsville or Brisbane, the turn around all up inc assay time and transport should be less than 3 weeks. Its already been 10 days since the "discovery". The mineralised interval should have been cut, sampled and already sitting in the labs awaiting analysis.
Seems to me that the General Meeting is of more importance than the assay results.
