To bring a medical product to market in such a developing field is a significant challenge and very high risk. Obviously it was in Ventracor's interest to hype their product and the chances of success which they did well. But you can only do this for so long ...... Quite simply the product was not all that good, and success relies on it being great. The fact the competition has no interest in their technology confirms this in my mind.
