There is absolutely no precedent for government to start taking high risk equity stakes in high risk biotechs in order to dig shareholders out of the hole after a company has sunk. It simply wont happen now either. (Banks of course and some insurance companies are a different game...)

No, what will happen here is that if the Intellectual Property has any value it will be sold on the open market to an interested predator by the recievors (when it comes to that) for diddly squat.

Its a jungle out there.
