JIMHO: This is more like a PRIVATE Company masquerading as a "public company". To me, this per se is NOT a big issue as long as that private company is looking properly after all the people that have given it money to work with.
Only time will tell if they will look after everybody - but I certainly do hope so.
Quality of management is what it is: You get well run and poorly run companies in both the private sector as well as among the public companies. So be it.
