In all, 27.5m shares were crossed, which is slightly more than 10% of the coy. Pans out well if this investor is buying a strategic stake for the very first time and they are buying because they can add value by steering more business to EMC. One of the Chinese State owned system integrator would fit into this category.
If this investor is a financial investor (a CleanTech Fund, small cap fund etc), then their appetite may have been satisfied by such a big gulp. The share price would drift until the next development.
I hope it's the former and not the latter. Just my 2cts.
