Hi Zacma...just my attempt at being cynical

But just to put your mind at rest...yes there is a group that hold a very strong influence on world events. Mostly derived from the New England Ivy League group and Texas...not sure what moniker they come under now but basically they are major wealthy families with a grip on the biggest business houses in the states ranging from banking, finance, weapons/aerospace and energy. They do congregate.

They have immense power and wield control in the corridors of power through lobby groups such as the military industrial complex (MIC), Fossil Fuels Lobby and Financial Services Group(FSG). This is not conspiracy these people are real.

As to whether they plan events to enrich themselves...more than likely, but we will never really know how and that becomes the domain of conspiracy.

But, I agree as you say, a healthy and sustained rebound will be with us for all the reasons we have been discussing. No ifs and no buts..
