for some reason, they neglected to let the ASX know of this news release....
(and someone's been buying up big chunks at the lowest prices in the meantime...)
FEATHERLITE INDUSTRIES AND THE ISLAND SKY CORPORATION ANNOUNCE
EMERGENCY WATER PRODUCT JOINT VENTURE PROJECT
Island Sky? Australia Limited (ASX Code: ISK), a manufacturer and distributor of innovative atmospheric
water generators, and Featherlite Industries, OEM manufacturer of industrial containers for power
generators, boilers, water treatment, and custom projects, announced today that they have signed a JV
agreement to build the world?s first, self sustaining emergency water containers.
The product, called Skywater? ESU-20, is a custom designed Featherlite ISO container built to house a
mobile water generation plant capable of supplying over 900 gallons of drinking water daily from
atmospheric humidity. The Skywater? ESU-20 features 3 Skywater?300 units, a 1,275 gallon water
storage tank, and a built-in 30kw electric diesel generator.
?The product is a go-anywhere, ready for use, self-contained water source. You can literally roll this unit to
any natural disaster site or remote location where water is needed and make safe drinking water,? said
Island Sky President & CEO, Richard Groden.
Newsweek?s June 6th edition reports, ?In a world of climate change, freak storms are the new normal.? With
the US seeing record-breaking weather patterns and natural disasters, the need for emergency water is
ever increasing. The Skywater? ESU-20 is a fully mobile unit which can generate its own electricity or can
be hooked up to any existing power source if available.
?The engineers have come up with a volume package that scales multiple units inside our customized ISO
20ft shipping container. With this principal, and Island Sky technology, we can produce thousands of
gallons of water per day and be ready to take on water shortage problems quickly and effectively,? said
Featherlite President & CEO, Brent Crego.
