It's possible that a new Coalition government will dismantle the whole thing next year... if the Coalition tried to use its "direct action" plan to meet the targets, the cost to the budget would be horrendous.
I think that this misses the point that no clean technology, environmental markets or environmental measures will receive any support whatsoever from the coalition. You only have to look at who their major donors are and who their leader is to know that.
The business environment for CCF or COZ in Australia can only improve if the coalition does not have power (or if the leadership of that party changes). It would be especially egregious for the profitability (and certainty surrounding) Australian operations if the coalition controlled the senate.
