Given Rudd's election promise to sign up to Kyoto and the ensuing targets to reduce carbon emissions one would have to expect he would have to introduce stronger biofuel targets/assistance.

As NFL has previously mentioned biofuels represent one of the cheaper and simpler alternatives to go some way to achieving emission reduction targets.

Assuming of course that signing Kyoto was a core promise. ;-)
