I have noted that nearly all posts...including mine, have really only evaluated TEX at the current oil/gas prices. As TEX is predominately producing GAS, if this this Climate Change really gets going, burning gas is a very quick way to cut emmissions.
I'm not sure how the ETS is going to work, but either gas producers get some sort of credits, or people will be switching to gas for consumption (power stations...etc...) or utilising as much gas instead of other traditional fuels.
I cannot remember, but I have read somewhere that gas produces about 1/10th the Carbon Dioxide that coal produces ?
This of course will have the desired impact on any gas producer.
