Hi Sewell64...I printed the SA Hydrogen report 124 pages will read completely tonight. In the executive summary: "carbon capture" is described in HZR process (page 9, State One (Broker report 17/11/17) as CO2 emissions for methonal production (carbon capture). "Low emissions" my take: is that there will always be "some" emissions in any industrial process. Also Siemens is involved with Primetals (together with Mitsubishi) in their MOU with HZR.
Need an engineer to cost H2 production via HZR process given Graphite (and graphene? used in concrete production etc) offtakes together with CO2 & Methanol production. And compare cost of normal H2 production via electrolysis (probably in SA H2 report).
I own small parcel HZR as a back up to LI battery story.
It is far too complicated for me and HZR process pilot plant results are needed before decision.
