EML is somewhat more complex than your bnpl comps. EML has tenticles everywhere in the digital space only limited by imagination of the board.
I believe its tagged with the gift card label and a physical presence. Consequently its perceived to be co dependant to economies.
Whilst this is true to a point it is quickly evolving into the digital arena and increasing its abilities to streamline processes and value add.
The bnpl space is very crowded but for now is flavour of month and an easy concept to understand.
I have previouly used "sleeping giant" however EML are very far from being asleep.
For those willing to do the research , the potential here becomes obvious very quickly.
