This is actually an awesome piece of news. Football clubs in Europe have a strong fanbase so immediately you tap on a massive group of people. As a football club who is probably for-profit, I would be keen to adopt such schemes to make more money. It costs next to nothing to setup and the way EML benefits from it is GDV, so that’s success based. Sounds like a win-win-win. Hope more clubs will follow suit.
