EML ControlPay and Z1P "Shop Everywhere"

Some of you may be aware that Z1P have a partnership with EML to provide a 'Shop Everywhere' feature. This allows Z1P users to basically make a BNPL purchase at any merchant with a virtual card on their mobile phone, regardless of if the merchant has signed up with Z1P or not.

I've started a new thread to discuss this, because I feel like this 'Shop Everywhere' functionality is probably the future of the BNPL sector, even if it means the BNPL company shares a % of their revenue with the provider of the 'Shop Everywhere' solution (in this instance - EML). I think the increased revenues for Z1P in providing this solution, will more than make up for this. I also think it's a good move by Z1P to have fast-tracked the implementation of this solution (as mentioned in their most recent market update). As a comparison, AfterPay do not offer this, but Klarna does (with Marqeta).

I have a couple of questions:
1. QuadPay seem to have a similar solution, although it's for online-only purchases. What is the future of QuadPay's solution, in light of EML's ControlPay solution allowing for online and in-store purchases?
2. What are Z1P investor's thoughts on the 'Shop Everywhere' feature. Is it a good thing or bad thing for the company in your eyes?
