For those interested in the general correlation between the Gold...

For those interested in the general correlation between the Gold Index , and ERM .
(I see that as the general gold market sentiment, compared to ERM - ie - is ERM receiving as much 'love' as the rest of the gold market?)

(I chose the index as it's readily available in my charting platform and it's relevance to market sentiment. You can see the chart of the $US LBMA at the bottom for reference ,, it is has less correlation but a general following of the trend)

I would think if you were to do the stats with regard to correlation,, there's a reasonable correlation ,, not 1:1 but a high correlation nonetheless.

So the question: Is ERM receiving as much love as the rest of the gold market... ? ..you'd have to say they're similar, in my view.

You could also say that the industry sentiment started picking up before the actual price of gold in 2016, and then subsided until the POG catch up in 2020..

You choose..

I'm hoping a significant and sustained hold above the US$2000 might usher in a newly minted rise in gold market sentiment along with ERM.
(No not tomorrow !!,, this is a 13 year chart after all.)
