Still manganese is a very small part of basically all battery types - both cost-wise and weight-wise. If a manufacturer wants to significantly improve its battery "ESG score" (whatever bs that will be) the easiest way to do it is to get green nickel, green lithium and reduce cobalt content. "Green manganese" is nice to have but not something incredibly significant.
