I wonder how long Curtin for example, would've lasted with the super intense, now highly commercial, highly self interested often partisan, sometimes toxic 24/7 news cycle, the caustic beyond belief (and often, logic) social media and the (fashionable?) cynical view of politics..
The question was asked of him..something like .."many of us are finding this time challenging..you have to front up day after day ..how are you and your family coping with the the relentless demands.."
What/how do you expect him to answer, how would you answer...(now remember, since we're all adults here, that his answer has to be suitable not just for the adults, but for the children sitting around wondering just what on earth is really going on..and remember, this is not a "simple" case of knowing exactly WHO or WHAT the enemy is ..Germany, Japan.. ? ) Could you front up day after day ?
He's no Einstein I guess, he's hokey, he's a pollie (gasp)..so toss him, and install WHICH current world leader ?
