For what it's worth, today will be bounce day. We should see some early morning selling pressure which will mop up a lot of the undecided investors. At some point during the day (after China market opens) we will see some bargain hunters enter the fray and start gobbling up lots of stock into the afternoon.
My prediction: a 2%+ net gain today.
And my rationale: COVID-19 impacts are short term, stimulus measures will cushion the economic impact of the pandemic, the actions of China to "impact" the price of iron ore will only be fleeting - they need too much of the stuff, and the attractions of a super dividend payment will be too much for many long investors to ignore.
