EMP should be 4 times its current value - Without additional gas supply capacity, there is a potential shortfall in meeting Victorian winter peak day demand. This is due to reduced gas production resulting from the depletion of Victoria’s offshore gas fields.
Gas fields must get flowing, otherwise, gas prices and gas supply restrictions in Victoria would be necessary in 2022-23. EMP is smack bang in the right area and perfectly timed to capitalize on this opportunity with a drilling program planned to commence this year. Plenty of news to come.
