I recently researched a number of low market cap mining stocks and one that grabbed my attention was EMU. I think this stock has a lot of growth potential and is very moderately valued currently. My reasons are as follows:

(1) Low market cap of $6.6M (@11c)
(2) Strong cash position of $5.5M (relative value of over 9c/share)
(3) SUMMARY OF PROJECTS (Dec Quarterly)
Emu Lake Nickel (Earning 33.3%) - A high grade intersection (0.25m @ 5.68% Ni) at Emu Lake confirms potential for extensions of
mineralisation south of the Binti Gossan
Windy Knob (51%) - Modelling in progress to define VMS targets
Kambalda West (Earning 30%) - More massive iron sulphide intersections with anomalous copper and silver
Salmon Gums (100%) - Follow up sampling extends a gold anomaly to a possible 1km length, open along strike, at Salmon Gums on the Tropicana trend.

Its early days but I particularly like the potential of the Salmon Gums gold project. EMU holds 100% ownership of this project and to date soil sampling is showing a gold anomaly that is 1km long and open along strike. EMU has planned additional sampling with the aim of defining the extent of this gold anomaly and identify targets for a drilling program. This project is located in the Tropicana Gold Trend on the Fraser Range where a number of recent gold discoveries have occurred including the AngloGold-Independence Groups +5M oz Tropicana gold deposit.

In my opinion, taking all of the above into consideration I feel EMU is very modestly valued at current prices. I bought in today. Please DYOR!
