I have done extensive DD in Medfield Diagnostics. This was my post regarding them.
"One of our competitors, Medfield Diagnostocs, out of Gothenburg, Sweden are in a world of pain. An extraordinary general meeting was called in late 2023 and the Chairman was sacked. An interim CEO was installed in January. They are currently trialling a portable helmet in NSW ambulances but my information is that it's very early stages and nowhere near as comprehensive a solution as EMV in terms of imaging.

If you go to the investor tab on the home page it will take you to all the dramas around the general meeting called last year. There is also a press release yesterday on the NSW ambulance trial. My due diligence which I have done for the past six months on Medfield tells me they are a along way behind in terms of approvals and a long behind in the quality of the technology. They are definitely a competitor but have a long way to go. Competition is good. It tells you the market is huge."
Since then they are still trying to get investment. As of last night they have a valuation of A$3M. It's just about curtains. Their current investors are all burnt from much higher prices. The share price is down 90% the past 12 months. Things are so grim I do not even regard Medfield as competition anymore.
For comparison, EMV is valued at $172M and recently received US$10M from Keysight Technologies and are backed by The Australian Stroke Alliance.
