But being a researcher/planner, by profession, I will admit to being a bit obsessed about the accuracy/likelihood of scenarios and critical paths.
Regarding Scott's recent talks - the webinar and 'on the couch' - to me his most significant utterance was "exiting the R&D phase and moving into the commercialisation phase".
This perhaps infers that he now firmly believes that his software and hardware engineers and industrial designers have nailed the tech in terms of required sensitivity and specificity and, now, just have to demonstrate this (tick the box) via the validation trial. If so, this is huge.
